4:00 PM | Acoustic Soul/Funk

T. Davis is a guitarist/singer/songwriter from eastern North Carolina. At age 17 he got his start playing solo acoustic shows in bars and restaurants in the Goldsboro area. Ever since he has continued to expand his repertoire and skill set, performing all throughout the Southeast both as a solo artist and with bands. His debut solo LP, On the One, was released November 24th, 2018.

Being the son of a drummer and the grandson of a bassist, you could say his obsession with groove-oriented music is genetic. His musical education was built on a foundation laid by the icons of soul  and funk music – James Brown, Sly Stone, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, Prince – the list goes on and on. All of these influences are reflected in his live performances, which feature the hit soul classics of yesteryear, as well as the original songs they inspired.

Their diverse playlist makes them an instant crowd sensation. From rock, country, beach, funk, rap, current Top 40 hits, and classic rock, Spare Change is sure to play a favorite of all persons attending.

With five singers (including a female), two guitarists, piano/synth, drums and bass, and even a mandolin player, their range and versatility is unmatched.

They are famous for their ability to switch gears, sounding like a Nashville country band one minute, a funky groove band the next, and an 80s hairband after that, all with equal comfort and authenticity.

Choreographed dances, audience participation, and non-stop motion on stage help drive an energy level that will have the crowd happily exhausted by the end of the night.

Spare Change travels with a professional sound engineer, and a lighting technician ensuring that the total production experience is always top-notch.

They play over 150 shows a year, from family festivals to professional corporate parties and elegant wedding receptions to rowdy nightclubs.   All that to say they are incredibly experienced at entertaining diverse crowds and will find a way to make sure everyone has a great time they’ll remember for years.

7:00 PM | Country & Blues

Brooke McBride is a “no fluff,” “no filler” singer/songwriter that prides herself in being downright real. The North Carolina native is defined by her raw, sultry and smoky vocals as her signature; her rockin’ live performance is “country music at its best with a razor edge.”

Brooke’s talents were recognized early in her career by the entertainment industry and television producers. She was acknowledged as a Carolina Music Award nominee for “Best Female Country Artist” (2013), a featured extra on the hit ABC Television series Nashville, and she made an appearance in the promotional commercial created for the 2013 CMA Awards (Nashville). In 2016, Brooke released the single, “Can’t Get Away” — a song that addresses and identifies the differences and similarities between the demons and obstacles presented on and off the road.

In 2019, she signed a single song publishing deal with Banner Music (Nashville) for her single, “Heartbreak Hall of Fame,” and released her latest project, a six song EP entitled, “Coming Clean.” She has been featured on Today in Nashville, The Ty Bentli Show, WSM Radio (Home of the Grand Ole Opry), and many other news and radio shows across the US. What does 2021 have in store for Brooke? Another year full of touring to promote her latest project, and as she puts it, “trying to connect with as many people as possible to make a difference through music.”
