NC Freedom Fest provides you the opportunity to say “thank you” to service members for making these sacrifices for our common good.
Honoring our military service members is the right thing to do because it demonstrates gratitude, but it also does more than just show moral support. Supporting NC Freedom Fest also acknowledges the significant impacts the military makes in our local community. Seymour Johnson Air Force Base is the largest employer in our local economy and is directly credited with the creation of 9,863 jobs in 2010. In 2011, the military installation had a total economic impact of $534,311,034 on our area’s economy. The numbers are staggering, but true.
